Dr. Banerjie earned a Ph.D in Polymer Science from Case Western Reserve University in 1977.
He has over 30 years experience in high performance specialty polymer compounding field with several notable global companies in USA,
including Armstrong World Industries, BFGoodrich, Allied Signal (now Honeywell), and PolyOne.
In addition, Dr. Banerjie was previously the co-founder for the US-based start-up company Polymerix/Trimax in 1986 and then Founder and
Managing Director of India-based Inventa Technologies Pvt. Limited ( www.inventa-chennai.com ) since 1989.
Dr. Banerjie co–founded Ovation Polymers in 2004 and started the operation in February 2005.
As President of Ovation Polymers Inc, his major research, development, and technology thrust today is to exploit "smart" polymer compounding technology
in the area of advanced nano-materials to create polymer compounds and composites with extreme performance properties.
The resulting products are used in electronics including hard disc drive manufacturing and semi-conductor industries, as well as in health science
and energy sectors.
